When Persecuted: Blessed, Week 8

In Christ, we are to move from “consumers” to “contributors.” But as you can imagine…when we begin contributing to the work of the kingdom, we will always experience backlash. And to everyone listening into Jesus during this final Beatitude, He told them: “Blessed are those who are persecuted…” Or those who experience that backlash and affliction.
